Brandi Potter Photography

I'm not a traditional photographer You won’t find faked moments or awkward smiles within my work. Why? Because you’ll look at these photos later in life and know it wasn’t real. If you’re concerned about getting dirty or just want me to show up and shoot, then I’m not the photographer for you, and that’s fine. It doesn’t hurt my feelings if you decide to go in a different direction, and I’d be more than happy to help connect you with photographers who may be that perfect fit.

Wildflower Engagement Session, Tiffany & Chad

Tiffany and Chad’s Wildflower Engagement Session by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter

I met Tiffany at Fleet Street Hair Shoppe, which is where I go to get my hair done. She also does the hair and makeup at some of my weddings so if you need a girl in Kentucky you need to call the shop and book them.  Tiffany and Chad are some of the winners of the engagement session contest I did earlier this year. I knew when she sent in her name and answers that she had to win. This is the first session I’ve done with one of the winners and it was a great start to do for those. I have pretty high hopes for the other sessions now, but I don’t know if I’ll find more wildflowers this year to this magnitude.

We went out to Raven Run in Lexington and I have literally never seen it look so pretty. I was planning on taking Tiffany and Chad down to the old Mill to shoot in the water, but we ended up staying near the top of the trail because of all of the flowers. If you live in the area you definitely need to go out on the red trail and see if they’re still bloomed. I was really hoping to get out there before I leave this Sunday and just string up my hammock but I don’t think I’m going to get to. So, if you get to go please take photos and send them to me so I can be forever jealous.
