Mackenzie and Evan’s Wedding at The Grove in Nashville by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
The first wedding I ever shot was in the Nashville area and this is the first time I’ve shot one in the area since then. It only took around 70 weddings in between, but I’m happy I was finally able to go back for a wedding. This was actually the first wedding held at The Grove and you would have thought that they had been hosting weddings for years. Everything went so smoothly, but I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that Kasey and her assistants were wonderful and handled all the small details to make the day perfect.
It’s days like this one that make me feel so fortunate to be able to share in a couples wedding day. Mackenzie has become a friend over the months, and their friends and family treated me as such. It’s amazing how much a wedding can fly be and feel less like work when you feel like you’re included and not just the awkward outsider. This is why I LOVE having that connection with my clients when I book them. It’s not just about being a vendor for me. I know that this day is important to my couples, and it’s equally important to me as well. If you don’t book me for your wedding just make sure that your photographer really cares about getting things right for you. Everything isn’t going to be 100% perfect, but those of us that value you, care enough to get as close to that as possible.
