Kat and Ryan’s Ohio River After Wedding Session by Seattle Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
I shot Kat and Ryan’s wedding two days after my Nana passed away, so I was a bit of a mess all day. I felt like I didn’t give them my best and so we arranged to shoot some more portraits a couple of weeks later. I really love these two and how much fun they are. And I know I’ve said it a thousand times but shooting their wedding when I was at my lowest was the best thing I could have done. They really lifted my spirits, and I’m forever grateful.
My life has been crazy since we did this session, and I’ve been traveling all over the place. It’s nice to finally just stop for a moment and be able to relive all of these wonderful sessions. I couldn’t be happier with the way the year has been going and I’m so excited to finish out my season. This has been the best and worst year of my life, but I have so many good things happening in my business that I’m positive that it’s going to continue getting better and better. I can’t wait to see where my business is at this time next year.
