Stevie and Ollie’s Ashland Kentucky Wedding by Lexington Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
I’m prefacing this by saying I have NEVER put this many images in a blog post. If I could I would blog all 683 photos that they are getting, but for some reason that seems like a very bad idea. I also never blog church weddings, because I very rarely like shooting in churches (the lighting is always awful or the carpet is a weird color, etc). This church though has the prettiest stained glass I have ever seen. It would really be a shame NOT to show people.
I met Stevie and Ollie back in the spring when they won my annual engagement session contest. They have been so welcoming and sweet, and me and Stevie snapchat each other constantly. So, basically, they are the perfect clients. They even made room on their timeline to go out and get some sunset photos taken (which I always suggest). Thankfully, unlike their engagement session, it was perfect and clear and not raining or overly humid. All in all the day was amazing, and one of my favorite weddings from this year.
Oh, and I want to mention that Ollie is British, and all of his groomsmen were British or Brazilian, so naturally they bought U.S. President socks to wear. Probably one of the funniest things I’ve witnessed at a wedding, especially since they got Abe Lincoln and Washington mixed up, and I’m pretty sure we still don’t know who two of the socks were. ANYWAYS, enjoy the post, and please be patient while it all loads.
