Southern California Travel Photos by Destination Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
Time for something entirely different from weddings and couples. Back in May when I went to California to shoot a wedding in San Diego, I was able to visit my friends Jillian and Josh in Pasadena for a couple of days beforehand. We went up into the mountains so I could take photos of them, and I ended up taking a lot of landscapes while driving around. The San Bernardino mountains are beautiful, and I absolutely can not wait to go back. We also visited a small town called Wrightwood, which I would move to in an instant if the right opportunity arose (check it out if you’re in the area), and went out to Eaton Canyon Park . I do need to add my Venice Beach photos to this, but all of my raws for that are on my laptop, and I’m just to lazy to get it out of the car right now.
All of the animal photos are from the San Diego zoo. I visited it the day after the wedding before I had to fly home, and it is absolutely massive. Totally worth the amount of walking I did that day. All in all it was a great trip out there, and the first time I had been back since buying my first DSLR. I can’t wait to go back and hopefully get to go to some more new places.
P.S. All photos were edited with the Castor preset.
