Ashley and Casey’s Palouse Knot Barn Wedding by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
In early September I made my way to small town Idaho on the border of Washington. I hadn’t been to Idaho before and was absolutely blown away by it. The rolling wheat hills look like something straight out of a painting, and Pullman is basically the cutest little airport I’ve ever flown into. My dear friend Kyndall lives nearby in Moscow and was kind enough to pick me and Dan up from the airport.
Everything in Moscow, Colfax, Pullman, Palouse, the entire area, was just gold and blue sky. It was so exciting to get to shoot in such a different atmosphere and landscape than I’ve experienced before. Shooting Destination Weddings can be extremely tough, but getting to see this country and new things has made it worth it. Especially when the people I get to shoot for are so sweet and amazing like Ashley and Casey.
We ended up doing a sunrise After Wedding Session the day after their wedding but still found time to run out during sunset and get a few portraits. The Palouse Knot Barn and property surrounding it (obviously) are so beautiful. If you’re in the area and need a venue, or even if you’re not and still need a venue you should definitely check it out.
