Rowie and Bruce’s Olema California Wedding by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
In early April I made my way out to the bay area to shoot a little Olema California Wedding. Olema is a SMALL town about an hour north of San Francisco, but it’s beautiful. It’s worth going to if you’re in the area, I know I’ll definitely go back to explore a bit more. I’ll also go back to eat again at Sir and Star. I ended up staying an hour and a half over because the SEVEN course dinner was so delicious. It’s literally some of the best locally sourced food I’ve ever eaten.
The original plan was to have the ceremony and reception at Sir and Star, and then they discovered that Margaret (the owner) also owned an adorable air inn a short walk away. They ended up staying at the inn and having their ceremony there to have a little more space. The inn itself is also beautiful (I can’t find a link for it), and I REALLY want to stay there when I go back to visit. It’s full of amazing design, decor, and taxidermy and really lacks nothing in the charm department. It’s basically the perfect quaint and this quiet little place to have an intimate wedding.
