Stephanie and Mike’s Golden Hour Portraits by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
I love the fact that we got the most out of Golden Hour to take their portraits. We started out in Georgetown at the Yuko-En Japanese garden (to check out the Yuko-En Japanese Garden, click here. ) and ended up in the next town over in Paris. It was honestly one of the least awkward sessions I’ve ever shot and I still just adore these photos. Mike and Stephanie are just so comfortable with one another, and it’s honestly like they’re the same person. I’ve really never met a couple that’s so similar.
This session is actually over a year old, and since I’ve finally caught up with my work I’m able to start going through everything and slowly re-editing and adding to the new website. I love seeing the raw files from back then because I use to shoot so differently. I wasn’t *as* technical as a shooter (I’m still not really), so a lot of things were hit and miss. I guess that’s part of growing as a photographer and in this business, and figuring out what works and what doesn’t.
