Heather and Ryan’s In Home Couples Session by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
When I first started on this photography journey I fell in love with Heather’s work. If you aren’t familiar with The End Photography you should be. Her work is dark and she writes small short stories to go with almost every image. It’s perfect and everything I wanted my work to be a couple of years ago. I’ve since shifted my attention to weddings, but I still drool over everything she posts. Her wedding is also the reason I fell in love with Karrah Kobus and HAD to attend one of her workshops.
I first met Heather two years ago at a shootout she held for some photographers. Besides being an amazing experience in itself I was able to make a couple of really good friends from it. When she posted a couple of weeks ago that her and Ryan wanted to have some more photos done of themselves I volunteered and here we are.
I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to be able to take my time during a session and get the results that I want. Also, not having the pressure I would during a “normal” clients session and being able to try new things was amazing. This was exactly the session I needed to help boost me creatively and I am SO SO thankful they let me shoot it. I’m in love with every single image from it, and unfortunately it would be a bit much if I included all 100 photos.
yeah, okay. wow. i’m obsessed. so good.
