Amanda and Joe’s Forest Engagement Session by Lexington Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
It’s not every day that you have couples drive six hours just to have their engagement session done. It’s also not every day that you have an amazing connection with your clients as soon as you meet them for the first time. They are both such cool people, and they’ve already told me about the food they’re having for their wedding so I’m SUPER ready for that. I can’t wait for their wedding to get here, and to be able to spend time with them again.
For their engagement session they wanted something woodsy and we were all hoping for their to be snow on the trails. Unfortunately for us there wasn’t any snow, and the trail we really wanted to go on was closed due to flooding. Luckily our backup option was open, and it was fairly clear of people, which has never happened any time I’ve been there. The session reminds me of a straight up fairytale. There was just the right amount of greenery in the moss and trees, and the temperature was exactly right. It really was a perfect session.
P.S. I don’t know if you all follow me on Instagram, but if you do, you have probably noticed I’m obsessed with making little animations. Be prepared to see more.
