Jenn and Ryan’s Downtown Cincinnati Engagement Session by Louisville Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
I just want to reiterate how much the Forest & Falls workshop has helped me when it comes to understanding my clients. I have to give it up to Kristen Marie Parker too because it was her talk that taught us to really pay attention and figure out our couples love languages and personalities so that we can make their sessions more them. I normally take the time to talk with my clients and get to know them, but this time I asked how they show their love for one another and what they’re looking to get out of their photos. I knew Jenn was pretty much up for whatever and Ryan didn’t want to be posed, so we literally just played the entire session.
I love that they were willing and up for running through the fountains and getting in the waterfall fountains. I also love that they rolled down the hill like they were kids again and that Ryan slid down almost every rail we came across.
Knowing who you are as a couple and being able to cater the experience to you is exactly what I want to do. I want to make sure that all of my couples have a unique session & wedding with me that fits their style and personalities. I’ll be working a bit harder from now on to really get to know my clients, so that I can mold the way I shoot to them.
