Blake and Laura’s Country Twilight Couples Session by Seattle Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
At the beginning of June I was house sitting at my family farm and got to shoot in one of my favorite spots, which is also where I one day hope to build a home. I really wanted to practice shooting in some lower light so I had them come out a bit later than I normally would, but I LOVE the photos we got. I’m so excited to continue shooting through blue hour and twilight, and just giving my clients something a bit more. If I’m not constantly learning and growing then I’m not doing this whole thing right.
I am about to start down the road of education and teaching, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to quit learning myself. I am constantly looking towards the people I admire and learning from them, and attending workshops when I have time. If you’re feeling stagnant in your work I highly suggest you do the same thing. There’s no reason to not be growing every single day in your business and art. If you need help finding some amazing teachers I can definitely send you a list. There are several educators I love and several that have no business teaching anyone anything. I’d love to help you find the right one before throwing your money at people that aren’t deserving.
