Colorado Mountains Wedding Session by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
Right around four years ago I met Anna and Trav to shoot their engagement session with my old business partner. Exactly four years ago today we became facebook friends, and about three and a half years ago Anna messaged me and told me she wanted to get back into photography and wanted to second shoot with me. We’ve pretty much been friends since, and I’m so grateful that both of these wonderful people came into my life. I wasn’t able to shoot their wedding years ago, but I think we made up for that last weekend when I was in Colorado.
Anna picked a spot in Twin Lakes, and I headed to meet her and Trav with some of our other friends. The ground was covered in snow, the lake was frozen, and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. It was such a beautiful place, and I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to take a bad photograph there. I’m dying to head back to camp in the summer and see what it looks like when it doesn’t look like it came out of a wintery fairytale. Definitely head up there if you’re looking for a new place to camp or explore.
