Makenzie and Brandon’s Berry Hill Mansion Wedding by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
I think I halfway cried more at this wedding than any other. Makenzie didn’t get emotional until she was putting on her dress, which made me have to choke back the tears. I also had to hold them back when they were reading their letters to one another. Oh, and again during the ceremony, and many times throughout the reception. It really was a great day, and one of the first times I’ve ever felt like I’ve found my groove in this crazy industry. I’m so excited to see what 2017 has in store for me and my business, because if any of the weddings are like this one, then it will be amazing. We still have to do their after wedding session in the spring, so I’m really looking forward to getting to work with them both again.
I also got to shoot this wedding with one of my really good friends Justin Skeens. He did the video for the wedding, and I can’t wait to see the full version. I’m also excited to let everyone know that we’ve come up with a joint package to offer Photo and Video to people. If you’re interested in having us both at your wedding then please email me and we can go over the details! Or if you’re in Lexington you can come to the Bridal Bliss Classic on Sunday (January 8th) and meet us. Our booths are fairly close to one another, so it shouldn’t be hard to find either one of us (2nd Floor, back left corner). I’m looking forward to meeting everyone, and hope that some of you are able to make it!
P.S. I’m really behind on blogging so there’s going to be a LOT of posts pop up over the next couple of weeks.
